what a night, my beloved and i decided to take in 'the 4 kinnells' at the ivy leaf club burnhope, and what a choice we made, after this performance it's easy to see how they have built up a solid fan base. they started the night with a cracking cover of metallica's - am i evil and the pace never let from there on,among classics such as hells bells-highway star-black night-and enter sandman they came up with their own arrangement of the stones classic paint it black and in my opinion a better version i have yet to hear, they don't stick to heavy rock as those of you who have seen them will testify they mix in some well known punk oldies like the rutts-babylon's burning, stiff little fingers-at the edge, and sham 69-hurry up harry, and for fans of motorhead come along and take in the ace of spades and you'd swear lemmy was making a guest appearance. so if like your music a mix of heavy rock and punk you won't be disappointed by a night rocking with 'the 4 kinnells'.
